About Us

We have started our temple with blessings of Sri Uma Agasteswara Swami, Jagadguru H H Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swami of Kanchi Peetham. The first project is Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi, Siva, Subrahmanya Swami and Sai Baba. We started the temple on 5th June 2011 with the blessings of H H Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swami. Pandit Kameswara Sharma hails from a family of Priests from Andhra Pradesh in South India. He is the third generation Priest in this family Dynasty. At a very young age, he became an Acharya in Krishna Yajurveda Smartha and Astrology. He is also working towards his advanced Sanskrit certifications. Panditji has deep and extensive knowledge of Karma Kand (religious rituals), Astrology, Vedas, Puranas, Srimad Bhagwat Gita, Ramayana and Upanishads.

Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi Temple was started in June 2011 with the blessings of H H Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji along with Pandit Kameswara Sharmaji. With the help of several generous donors both from the local areas as well as from other cities in the USA, the Temple was established and also went into expansion with Venkateshwara Swami, Maata Lakshmi, Andal Amma, Sahasra Lingam, Lakshmi Ganapathi, Shanmukha Subramanya Swami, Sri Panchamukha Hanuman, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swami, Nava Graham, Naga Devata, Pratyangira, Chandi, Vaaraahi and Sai Baba.

All major events and festivals are celebrated with great pride and participation.
